In general, how do people get the things they need to survive? That is:


What technologies are they using? For obtaining food? For shelter? For communications? For transport?





What is the "motive power"? (That is, what is the source of power that sets production in motion?)





Who owns the means of production (raw materials, land, buildings, tools, etc.)? What are the property relations?
